Sana Habib studied and taught economics and art history for many years. It was when she met a graduate of The Prince’s School of Traditional Arts in Dhaka that she was introduced to Geometry and the Traditional Arts. Sana joined VM Centre in Karachi because she was very keen to pursue her interest in the traditional arts, especially geometry. Being at the VMCTA has been an enjoyable and informative experience so far. Sana says, “I have learnt a lot about the arts themselves but the journey into how the Traditional Arts is being practiced in Pakistan has been most exciting.” Sana hopes and aims to collaborate with the artists and artisans of the region and take the Traditional Arts further.
