Amna’s areas of expertise lie in traditional egg tempera painting practices, utilizing natural paint pigment that she extracts from locally sourced minerals, earths, and flora, indigenous to Pakistan.

Although drawing and painting are Amna’s forte, her fascination with both geometric and biomorphic patterns extends to other artistic mediums of expression, including printmaking and textile design. Amna also helped design the annual Faiza Samee lawn collection.

An artist by training, Amna earned her MFA from the National College of Arts (NCA) with a concentration in printmaking and sculpture.
