Alefiya Abbas Ali holds a degree in fine arts with distinction and have always been interested in Traditional Islamic Art. She successfully completed her diploma in Traditional Arts from the VM Centre of Traditional Arts, Karachi. Alefiya is passionate to learn more about Geometry, Ancient Islamic manuscripts, Miniature painting and Illumination brought to her at the VMCTA.
Her association with VM Centre established when she first attended an introductory Illumination workshop followed by several other short courses. These short courses provided her with an insight of what the year-long Diploma programme had to offer and that was exactly what she was looking for in terms of centre facilities, course content and tutors’ expertise.
Alefiya believes that enrolment in VMCTA Diploma Programme is so far the best decision in her professional career. In this short period of time, she greatly enhanced by skills in the art of Ceramics, Marquetry and Fresco painting.
