Fee:  Rs. 7,000.00

Tutor:  Isra Butt from The Prince’s School of Traditional Arts, London

Course description:

This course is an excellent opportunity to explore how principles of design are transformed into works of art using a variety of skills. Inspired by Sindh’s Ralli quilts, in this course participants will explore the characteristic 4- and 8-fold geometric shapes of this traditional art form, designing stylised nature motifs with different symmetries. They will then produce their own Ralli-inspired piece using fabrics they colour themselves with dyes found in nature, completing several finished sample pieces using a variety of mediums and techniques.
